School Information

Our primary goal is to encourage and foster the growth of the whole child; therefore, our curriculum addresses all areas of emotional, social, physical, and intellectual development in a stimulating, playful environment.

A typical day for our classes begins with a meeting, where a helper is chosen to lead the class in discussing the day and date and the weather. Mrs. Cowgill and the helper lead the class in a math activity with Forest Friends. The teachers then explain the day's theme and activities, and typically read a story related to those themes. The children are then free to move about the various Learning Centers. Each day also includes snack time, outdoor play, and lunch for the Pre-Kindergarten class. The day usually ends with songs and finger plays.
